How long will my hair last?

There are many factors. How well you are taking care of the hair is one factor. The best Remy hair will tangle less and not shed as much. Our human hair is virgin hair, it does not have the natural oils your own hair does and dries out and thins from brushing over time. Even the best hair need to be replaced. With proper care the hair can last up to 2 years. Each person is different, depending on climate, water, products used, care for the hair, brushing, using blow dryers and hot irons, how it was applied, swimming, how often washed, etc. Due to all these factors no one can give an exact amount of days hair will last. Companies that do this are misleading as each person has different circumstances. They can last for many months or be easily ruined if not cared for properly.

 

Can I swim in the hair?

Yes, we recommend to wash and condition the hair immediately. Whether it is salt water or chlorine, it will strip the hair of any oils and moisture. The hair after prolong exposure to this will began to dry. Dry hair can become tangled and shed. 

 

How do I wash the hair or wig?

Wash the hair in one direction. From top to bottom. Avoid washing hair upside down in the sink. Use shampoos and conditioners that are for dry hair and add the ]moisture. Wash hair immediately after swimming. When brushing your hair, start from the bottom and work your way up while holding the top weft to keep it from shedding or stretching. Do not brush the lace while wet. It is held together by a simple knot and excessive tugging will result in shedding and thinning.

 

Can I brush, curl blow dry and wash it?

Absolutely! This is your new hair treat is better than your own natural hair. Curl it and have fun. Although, you can wash everyday you will find that your extensions hair will stay clean and curled for days. Just as your natural hair has product build up, so does the hair extensions. Wash and Condition as normal. Wake up too late this morning? No problem. Your hair still looks great! This does not apply to all hair curl patterns. Deep wave and very curly textures you may not want to brush out or it can get frizzy. This hair let air dry, use a wide tooth comb if you choose and scrunch or use a dangler brush for a more defined curl.  Please note hair will dry out sooner when using blow dryers and hot implements. Air drying is a best for the hair extensions and wig.

 

Can I color or perm the extension hair?

Yes. The hair has not been processed or permed previously. We recommend a professional, but we know YouTube will be a resource to learn the latest water color method or a way to dye the hair.

 

Will extensions damage my hair?

No, hair extensions should not damage your hair if properly cared for and maintained. We recommend having a good foundation. Protect your natural hair with our hair butter or any of our hair oil. When using glue to hold the lace in place, use a wig cap to protect your edges.

 

How many packs of hair do I need?

The desired fullness depends on each person. We recommend that lengths 8-14 use 2 bundles or packs. 16-20 use 3 bundles 22-30 inches use 4 bundles. If you desire a full look add an extra bundle of hair to the recommended amount.

How long is shipping?

How long is processing time?

Once your payment has been successfully cleared by our credit card processor, your order will be processed and shipped within 24-72 hours. PayPal usually clear immediately, all other processor take 48 hours or longer.
